Paula Pääkkönen is a glassblower and artist who has become known for her ‘Assorted Flavours’ glass ice creams. Glass is her primary medium because it is such a challenging material – glassblowing techniques are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. As an artist, she is currently exploring the themes of childhood, memories and imagination. In her work, she seeks to capture the moment when everyday things still hold a touch of magic and the proportions of the world can shift. Pääkkönen’s works feature in numerous private and public collections. She also collaborated with the Italian fashion brand Benetton in 2025.
