General Information

Fyrklöver-Invest Oy Ab, a company registered in Finland (hereafter Gumbostrand Konst & Form), Business ID 2104480-3, sells products to customers aged 18 or over and businesses. The products sold are artworks. For art sales, we apply the margin scheme, meaning the artwork does not include deductible VAT (VAT Act 79c §).
Alternatively, if the artwork is sold on behalf of the artist, the price may include 13,5% VAT, provided the artist is VAT‑liable. Exceptions apply to works such as photographs produced in editions larger than 30, or in commission sales, in which case the artwork price includes 25,5% VAT.

We reserve the right to update prices and delivery fees at any time.

Purchases are made through our online store by adding products to the shopping cart and completing the payment process at checkout.

Customer information is handled confidentially. Contact details collected during checkout are used only for processing the order or for resolving any issues related to it. By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions currently in effect.

Payment

Gumbostrand Konst & Form offers several payment methods, including card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard), online banking, OP Invoice (Finland), and mobile payments. Available payment options are shown when you proceed to the Paytrail payment service.

OP Invoice (Finland only)

OP Invoice is a secure payment method provided by OP. You will receive an invoice by mail with at least 30 days to pay. You may pay the full amount at once or in instalments. The minimum instalment is €50.

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Valid Finnish personal identity number
• Purchase amount €50–€2000

Payment Service Provider

Payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj (Business ID 2122839‑7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail will appear as the recipient on your bank statement or card invoice.

Delivery

Gumbostrand Konst & Form currently delivers artworks within Finland and EU.

Delivery costs depend on the size and weight of the artwork, the recipient’s postal address, and the chosen delivery method. Artworks can also be collected from our gallery during opening hours.

Small artworks are delivered to a nearest pickup-point or directly to you, depending on how the shipping services work locally. You will receive a text message or email when your item is ready for collection.

Large artworks are always delivered to your door. Door‑to‑door deliveries are handled through Shipit Oy Ab partner carriers during weekdays.

Returns are always subject to a fee, calculated based on the size, weight, and originating postal code of the artwork. For all returns, please contact us first at info@konstoform.fi.

Inspecting the Delivery

The buyer must inspect the condition of the shipment upon arrival.
If the artwork is damaged during transport or does not match the order, notify both the carrier and Gumbostrand Konst & Form immediately.

In return situations, the buyer must follow the provided packaging instructions. All artworks are insured during transport.

Transport Insurance

-begins when the artwork is first moved for loading,

-continues throughout normal transport including temporary storage and reloading,

-ends once the artwork is unloaded at its destination,

-is valid within the geographical area specified in the insurance policy.

Delivery time is typically 2–6 business days within Finland and 4–14 days within the EU.
Gumbostrand Konst & Form is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or related indirect losses.

Worldwide transits including but not limited to all domestic and inland transits, however excluding
shipments to or from countries and areas subject to sanctions by Transits To/From/Via Ukraine, Belarus
and Russia excluded.

Returns

Artworks may be returned within 14 days from delivery.
If the artwork was damaged in transit, Gumbostrand Konst & Form covers the return shipping costs — provided the damage was reported upon receipt. All other returns are at the customer’s expense.
Returned artworks must be undamaged and packed in their original or equivalent packaging. If the artwork has been used contrary to the buyer’s duty of care, we may deduct compensation up to the full value of the work including return shipping. Refunds are issued within 14 days after the artwork has been received and inspected.

Packaging Instructions (Two‑Dimensional Works)

1. Use the original packaging materials whenever possible.
2. Photograph the artwork before packaging.
3. Protect the artwork surface with paper.
4. Place a cardboard sheet the same size as the artwork on both sides.
5. Wrap the artwork in at least three layers of bubble wrap and tape securely.
6. Ensure no empty spaces remain inside the package.
7. Pack the artwork inside heavy-duty corrugated cardboard (minimum 7 mm) and reinforce edges and corners.
8. Check that all tape is secure.
9. Attach the shipping label in a protective sleeve.
10. Photograph the final package and send us the images before shipping.

Packaging Instructions (Three‑Dimensional Works)

1. Use original packaging materials whenever possible.
2. Photograph the work before packing.
3. Wrap the artwork thoroughly in bubble wrap.
4. Place it in a smaller inner box.
5. Ensure there is no empty space inside the box.
6. Place the inner box in a larger outer box (minimum 7 mm), filling gaps with cushioning material.
7. Tape securely.
8. Attach the shipping label in a protective sleeve.
9. Photograph the final package and send us the images before shipping.

You will receive the shipping label by email, or for pickup‑point deliveries you may reuse the same label that came with your original package. Attach the label securely to the shipment (preferably in a plastic sleeve or similar) so that it remains clearly visible.

The buyer must email photographs of both the artwork and the completed package to Gumbostrand Konst & Form before sending it, so we can assess the condition of the item and ensure that the packaging is suitable for transport.

Transport Insurance

The transported goods are insured during shipment — including returns.
The insurance covers art pieces during transport and temporary storage.
The insurance is provided by LocalTapiola General Mutual Insurance Company

Insurance cover

This insurance policy, provided by LocalTapiola General Mutual Insurance Company, covers Fyrklöver-Invest Oy Ab and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and other entities worldwide for marine cargo and inland transit. ​ Below is a summary of the key terms and conditions:

Coverage

• Scope: Worldwide transits, including domestic and inland shipments, excluding Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia due to sanctions. ​
• Conveyance: Covers transport by truck, rail, aircraft, waterborne carrier, and the insured’s own conveyances. ​
• Insured Goods: Includes raw materials, semi-finished products, finished goods, machinery (new and second-hand), property belonging to third parties, goods in exhibitions/fairs, return shipments, and intercompany shipments. ​
• Risks Covered: All risks of direct physical loss or damage, including war and strikes risks, as defined by Institute Cargo Clauses (A), War Clauses, Strikes Clauses, and other applicable clauses. ​

Special Clauses

• Intermediate Storage: Covers storage for up to 180 days after discharge from the conveyance. ​
• Concealed Damage: Covers damage discovered within 30 days of arrival at the destination. ​
• Return Expenses: Covers additional freight and related expenses for returned goods due to suspected damage. ​
• Variation of Temperature/Humidity: Covers damage caused by temperature or humidity changes outside the insured’s control during transit or storage. ​

Exclusions

• Losses due to delay, wear and tear, inherent vice, gradual deterioration, theft from unattended vehicles, and certain other specified causes are excluded.

Jurisdiction

• Governing Law: Finnish law and jurisdiction apply. ​
• Disputes: Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Helsinki District Court. ​ Disputes must first be referred to the Finnish Average Adjuster.

Copyright

All copyright and legally defined moral rights remain with the artist.
The artist may request to borrow the artwork for exhibition purposes; any such arrangements are agreed upon separately.
