Henna Korhonen

Henna Korhonen (b. 2000), known by her artist name Hensku, is a self-taught visual artist who holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Turku’s language specialist programme. Playfully experimenting with a range of materials, Hensku explores the carnality and sexuality of the human body, which also serve as her primary sources of inspiration. Through her anatomical paintings, she seeks to challenge the stigmas surrounding sexuality that also shape perceptions of depictions of the human body.
