Jenni Tuulia Siltala graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2019 from the University of Dundee in Scotland. Through her paintings, Jenni depicts meaningful places, their atmosphere and her own memories. In her work, she uses photographs she has taken herself as a reference.

“In my work, I reflect a great deal on my surroundings and the experience of belonging. How we become rooted in our surroundings, and what different places mean to us. Seas and lakes are my favourite subjects, as they are associated with many positive memories and a sense of nostalgia.”
