Inspired by the recent deterioration in my close-up vision, I have been using a suggestive approach as a technique for sketching facial features. What they represent is open to interpretation. Often, when sketching a person, the space on the paper or canvas runs out roughly at ankle level if we proceed from top to bottom. In a few works, this practice has been turned on its head, and the space has usually run out around the upper lip. You can also view the artwork in our gallery before deciding to buy.
