Risto Lehtinen, born in 1984, is a painter from Porvoo who also works in Helsinki. Traditional oil-painting techniques play an important role in Risto’s works. He takes an alchemical approach to the preparation and development of paint as part of his painterly expression. The subjects of his works revolve around his own life, whilst recognising that the viewer interprets the works from their own perspective.
