Anita Jensen

250

Visual artist and printmaker Anita Jensen graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 1985. Since 1985, she has worked as a full-time visual artist, whilst also teaching printmaking at Aalto University for 35 years. In the early years following her graduation from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, she initially focused on intaglio etching techniques; shortly afterwards, she developed her own working methods, which enabled her to create very large-scale, multi-coloured intaglio works. For the past 10 years, Jensen has concentrated on pigment printing using large-format inkjet printers, experimenting with various materials from the West and Japan. You can also see the artwork in person at our gallery.
